Once again the LOGAN campaign bears the hallmark of Andrea Biondi. A dream-like, surreal desert is the setting chosen for the new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection photo shooting . A mysterious, solitary traveler will guide you through this enchanted “non-place”, pointing out the styles that will take you through the entire season. She’s a fascinating, sophisticated woman, the kind that totally embodies the LOGAN style. In this setting, suspended between dream and reality, you’ll glimpse the  authentic spirit the new Collection inspires .

They ΄re everywhere. You can spot them zigzagging between skyscrapers in NYC, traversing the  Louvre in Paris and window-shopping along the fashionable Via Condotti  in Rome.  And now Pedro Garcia has redefined the concept, taking comfort to new heights with these towering sandals, while preserving the true essence of an easy shoe. The style is called Charlize. Uber chic high-heeled sandals in castor, a leather as smooth as suede but sturdy enough to provide its own structure and allow the raw edges, without extra finishing touches.  Rough-hewn charm. The use of Velcro closures and no buckles seals the deal. Contemporary minimalism.  

Going back to the year 1925, the Garcia family has been involved in the production of women's shoes thus establishing themselves as one of the oldest manufacturing houses in Spain, and beyond. During that time the Pedro Garcia products have found their place in prominent shops all around the globe - but the family's younger generation of owners and designers have set themselves the task of conquering new frontiers never the less. Targeting the realm of what is often termed as experimental luxury, their designs constitute a fusion of contrasting materials and styles, creating hybrid models from seemingly incompatible concepts while keeping a steady eye towards anatomical imperatives and comfort. 

Chie Mihara's spring/summer collection for 2011 has arrived at Chopine.  The source of inspiration for Chie's summer collection for 2011 can be traced back to the 1970's - the decade of inspiration and liberation of expressiveness as the designer herself explains. Thin soles, cork platforms, chunky heels all blended together with acid colors that help create a look that combines retro elements with Mihara's distinctive look and style.

Chopine is happy to include in its winter collection the Lucille L' Italien line of shoes. Created by the talented Japanese designer Megumi Ochi, they present a more sophisticated approach to the design of pret a porter pumps, as well as a number of booties where detailing and variety blend creatively to form a more playful result. "Shape, line and balance are essential elements for my product" Megumi says. Delicate details, quality of materials, and graceful color chosen with her sensibility are added in every collection. 

This season Chie Mihara is inspired by social changes, mood changes, people's needs in order to refine and direct the collection. She found the need to make  more "down to earth" and wearable shoes. Basic shapes with a touch of balanced details, filled with nostalgia. Ornaments play an important part. The shoes have a strong look, stable and utilitarian. Colours are dark but rich, inspiring confidence!

United Nude, a brand founded by architect Rem D Koolhaas and seventh generation shoemaker Galahad Clark open a flagship store at 25 Bond Street on Thursday, May 20th in New York. Located on the chic Noho street across from uber-trendy fashion store Oak and a short walk from the new Bowery Hotel and the New Museum, the United Nude brand is firmly placed on the Manhattan landscape.

This new Chie Mihara's collection is all about positive energy: it's about renewing your thoughts and enjoying a fresh breeze in these times. Her personal view is that there's no need to suppress creativity because of social, economical and political factors. In this collection we find sweet and rounded shapes. There are lots of platforms and inside plateus that take us back to the 70s. Highlight straight and voluminous heels, stacked heels, irregular lines and geometrical shapes in black and white.

And if your legs cry out for something more comfortable come next morning, then it's their new Weekend series of shoes that will provide you with the comfort and more sportive look that follows a night's hard partying. All these will be complemented by many more shoes from the likes of Ash, Bronx, Dish, Hobby and many distinguished Greek shoe designers.
